Online Training For Camp Leaders –
” Kick-off : 27 October 2021 “
Have you participated in a work camp, and are you considering running one yourself? Are you interested in group leadership at an international contexts? Or would you like to refresh your experiences from a previous training session with us? Then register now for the next round of our online training for (future) camp leaders!
Here you will get to know other committed people who would also like to lead work camps, as well as the people behind the IBG association. Experienced teamers will give you an insight into ‘their’ workcamps and tell you how they overcame challenges and conflicts.
What is it ?
The online training consists of various modules that you can work on independently at your own pace. For this you should plan around 3 to 5 hours per week, depending on your learning pace.
In addition, there are three digital live training sessions in which you can apply, try out and discuss the content directly in the group. Live sessions via video conference take place every Wednesday evening:
- Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 6-8pm: virtual kick-off meeting
- Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, 6-8pm: virtual check-in
- Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 6-8pm: virtual closing meeting
Who can participate?
You can participate if you are at least 18 years old, speak basic English and are considering leading an international workcamp with FCC-Morocco or with its partners.
What do I need?
To take part in the training you need:
- a stable internet connection
- a PC or laptop
- (ideally) a webcam
- (ideally) a headset with a microphone
